Nå hadde jeg ikke samvittighet til å la mer kompost gå til spille.
Så selv om det fortsatt er kaldt om natten valgte jeg å tømme omtrent halve bingen for å få plass til mer mat…
Det er jo vidunderlig når man åpner luken og ser det svarte gullet…
…som gjør så godt for planter og busker…
…og litt for meg…
…så var det bare å bruke greip oppi for å blande mer og løsne resten av komposten slik at det synker ned og gjør plass til nye godsaker fra toppen.
Jeg har en egnet plastbeholder med hull i bunnen…
…og så tetter jeg komposten med plast og steiner.
Da holder næringsstoffene seg der de skal være og ikke forsvinner opp i luften til ingen nytte.
Jeg synes det komposterer litt senere vinterstid, så det passer bra å ikke tømme hele bingen riktig ennå.
Får vente til noen gode og varme vårdager.
Inntil da er det bare å fylle på med mer matavfall.
Jeg bruker ikke fisk og kjøtt oppi, har en tendens til å utvikle hvit mark.

Knappen for følgere er klar hos meg den 🙂 Og nå har jeg redigert bildene om igjen, så da er vel det klart også.
Biolan, ser jeg. Har makan! Er ikke full fart om vinteren, men det går såvidt. Tenker min er full i juni. Tømmer bare rett på bakken og dekker med presenning/steiner.

Det är underbart med egen kompost. Såg i ett tidigare inlägg att du använder kaffesump i komposten. Det är något jag också prövat och det är fantastiskt bra! Ha en skön helg!/ Kram Titti
Vi har kaffemaskin nå så jeg tror jeg må spørre noen naboer om hjelp til kaffegrut…;)
Hvilken perfekt muld du har fået lavet, hverken for tørt eller for vådt. Det sidste er vist det jeg syntes er sværest. Kan godt forstå at du glæder dig over alt det guld du kan lægge ud i haven, jeg sidder såmænd og jubler med dig!
Jeg skal vist også snart ud og se om der er noget guld til mig, for komposten er MEGET fuld. Håber snart på vedvarende varme, så de kære orme kan arbejde optimalt.
